Nadia and Michael met in law school. Before they officially met, they both participated in a law school kickball event. Unfortunately, Nadia's team was outnumbered and got eliminated first. Michael's team, on the other hand, took first place. Because of this, the two did not meet at the kickball game. Instead, they met after the game at a beer garden on Queens Boulevard. Nadia was at the bar chatting with friends while Michael was nearby with a friend who mentioned she was heading to dinner with Nadia afterward. Michael asked her who this friend was and she pointed out Nadia. Michael spotted Nadia and made a beeline for her. Nadia was mid-conversation when a hand suddenly slammed down on the bar in front of her. Confused and a little annoyed, she turned around to see who could possibly be this rude. (And for those of you who don't know what comes next, please excuse the language). She was greeted by Michael asking a simple question: "who the f*ck are you?" To which she immediately responded, "who the f*ck are you?" And in quite possibly the most New York way of all time, the two met. After that bold introduction, Michael crashed the girls dinner Nadia was supposed to be having with her friend, and the two ended up hanging out for the rest of the night, making pit stops all along Austin Ave, eating good food, playing pool and arcade games, (maybe stopping for another drink), talking, and laughing. And they haven't stopped hanging out since. Since then, the two have both graduated from law school, passed the bar exam, moved from Queens to Manhattan, and gotten engaged. Now, they’re excited to begin their next chapter together—this time with all of you by their side.
