Travel
FLYING INTO LONDON
From London Heathrow Airport, you can take a taxi into Central London or a train. There is a fast train called the Heathrow Express which takes about 15 minutes from the airport into London Paddington Station. From here you can access the Tube/underground train which will take you anywhere in London. There is also a slower train (less expensive) directly from the airport into London via the Piccadilly Tube line.
TAXIS & THE TUBE
The traditional Black Cab Taxis are the most convenient and quickest option if you don’t want to take the train. The Tube is a better option if you plan on touring around the city all day. We recommend getting the weekly unlimited pass for the best value.
LODGING
Formerly, we lived on the West side of London in an area called Hammersmith where there is a fantastic Holiday Inn Express. It’s walking distance to pubs, shops and on the Tube- we highly recommend!
We will be staying at the Residence Inn below.
