Of course, Logan airport in Boston offers International options, as well as many domestic routes; driving from Boston to Providence takes about an hour; to Newport about an hour and a half. A closer option, which is also often cheaper, is TF Green Airport in Providence. It has fewer routes, but does cover many major cities, including Washington DC and Chicago.
