07.13.2013 It all started with a cold beer. A bottled Coors to be exact. We met at The Westerner when I was least expecting it. Keenan was wearing a classic John Deere ball cap, had his sleeves rolled up, wearing boots and jeans, and sporting the country boy suntan that told me he must not be from around here. I went up to him and asked him what he was drinking that evening and if I could buy him a drink. Of course he said yes! I ordered two Coors and we immediately began chatting about our hobbies and interests and quickly realized how much we had in common. We hit it off right away and have been inseparable ever since.
03.04.18 We spent the day in Vernal, UT shooting a 3D archery competition shoot and were so happy to be home on a Sunday evening. Our friend Grant was still hanging out in the kitchen and we were all casually chatting over dinner. I was just getting ready to start doing the dishes. In my cozy attire I had no idea what was about to happen next. Keenan looked straight at me and told me he had a question for me. He walked over to me and got down on one knee and asked me if I would marry him! I said "YES!" Lucky for us, Grant caught the proposal on video so we have it as a cherished memory forever.
