We met at Phoenix airport, Cori worked for a ground handling company which supported British Airways....and you all know my long career at BA. There was mild fireworks when we first worked together but not the kind you may think, we didn't always agree on how things should go operationally but Cori was smart enough to know how to handle my requests. We both loved aviation and shared a love of family, travel and craft beer. As time went on we devoted more time to work that kept us together for crazy and long days. The long work calls and meetings sprinkled in time to get to know one another. The talks became less about the craziness of airport shenanigans and more about what we enjoyed doing outside of the airlines. As time went on we grew to agree on finding a great partner and friend in one another....the rest is history.

After almost 7 years together with multiple moves across towns and states, buying a house, travelling, adding a few dogs and our biggest blessings, our two beautiful boys, we thought this was the next likely step. There was no official proposal but like all things we do, we talked about what we wanted most and what would further enhance our lives.....this was our unanimous decision. We love that the boys are just as excited as us!

We never planned for anything but know what we wanted all along.
