We plan to have a katb kitab (ceremony) at Masjid Al Aman that is open to the community. Once we make our way over to Egypt, we will hopefully also have small intimate gathering, as all of Alam's family is there. This way we get to celebrate with both sides without having anyone from our families miss out on a big event.
We do ask that out of respect for the mosque, women please cover their hair and not wear anything that is revealing. Any scarf will do for a hijab, if you need a scarf or a tutorial on how you to wear or style your hijab, please ask Nadia.
I want all my babies there. They must be ready for a beautiful "Aunt Nadine and all her babies" picture.
We can have a house party here and call it my wedding, I love you for being willing to travel all the way to Africa for me.
