Kitsap County, while beautiful, is unfortunately somewhat difficult to navigate without a car, and so if you're travelling and are able to rent a car, that will be your best bet. Be aware the Uber/Lyft can be expensive and unreliable here. If, however, you're up for the adventure, read on for some tips on navigating the area car-less.

Kitsap AirporterKitsap Airporter

The Kitsap Airporter runs each hour from SeaTac Airport. As long as your final destination is at or near one of its stops, this is a good and inexpensive way to go.

Link Light RailLink Light Rail

If you're staying on Bainbridge Island, you'll likely want to take the light rail from the airport to Symphony (not Pioneer Square!) and walk to the ferry terminal, since the airporter shuttle does not serve Bainbridge Island.

Washington State FerriesWashington State Ferries

Ferries run regularly from Downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island and Downtown Bremerton. If you will be staying in either location, this will be better than the airporter shuttle.

Kitsap TransitKitsap Transit

The busses around Kitsap generally work fine as long as you can work within their timetables , but do be aware that there is no transit service that takes you all the way up to the church. If you will be travelling without a car and you will need assistance getting to the church on the day of the wedding, please reach out to travel@thesteins.wedding so that we can help figure out how to get you there.
