When Nader and I met, I was working for Duane Reade in JSQ. One day, I was covering a break for a coworker at the downstairs register when I noticed a very handsome conductor from Path walk past the store. He happened to look my way and I waved. Instead of walking way, this handsome conductor walked into the store and introduced himself as Nate. We had a lovely conversation. Shortly after, he went back on the train and I went upstairs. The last thing I expected was for him to return to my job and ask me for my Instagram. The best thing he did that night was sliding into my DM's. The rest became our LOVE STORY.
It, all, started the week of Thanksgiving. That week, Nate was working lots of overtime. (Well, that's what I thought!) Thanksgiving came and went. Sunday the 29th, I had a hair appointment. It was time for a change. While I was getting ready for my appointment, Nate walks into the room and hands me his car keys, along with some cash. Nate NEVER gives me the keys to his car willingly. He made my day! On my way home that evening, I picked up Sophia. Once we got home, Nate told us to go into the living room. He sounded very serious. As I walked into the living room, he calls my name. I turn around and there he was, on one knee, with the ring in hand. That night, Nate asked me to be his wife! An, already, amazing day turned into a breathtaking day! I cried like a baby in his arms. In typical Nader fashion, he kept it, very, small and intimate. IT WAS PERFECT!
