Andrew and Jessica met on the beautiful beaches of Waikiki, Hawaii. Thanks to a snazzy little app called Bumble, these two met while Andrew was on an assignment in Honolulu and Jessica had just decided to live in Hawaii for a while after working on a cruise ship. Jessica was bartending at Maui Brewing company when Andrew decided to come have some breakfast and meet her. When Jess got off work they spent the day exploring Waikiki and by the time they made it to Kelly’s Irish Pub, they knew this was something special. Andrew was scheduled to go back to Indonesia in just 3 days so they spent every second together. Almost 3 months went by of constant calls, texts and Face-Timing when Andrew decided to fly Jess over to Jakarta. The day Jess got there on November 4th, 2017, Andrew told her he loved her and they have been inseperable ever since. During this trip, Drew asked Jess if she would move with him to San Diego, California at the beginning of the year and of course she said yes! They lived in beautiful sunny California until June 8th when Andrew decided to exit the Marine Corps and pursue a civilian life. What were they going to do next?! Buy an RV and travel of course! So for 45 days, these two traveled through 18 states and got to see their beloved America up close. They really loved Idaho, Montana, Texas and Florida but after submitting lots of resumes and attending interviews, as well as wanting to be closer to their families, Andrew accepted a job as a Government Contractor at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC. Still living in their RV, Jess was offered an opportunity to become the Business Development Manager for Trojan Labor and they knew it was time to lay some roots. They sold the RV and are now living in a beautiful apartment nestled in the busiest part of Fayetteville.
Andrew asked Jessica to marry him at the Springhill Suites Hotel in Oceanside, CA right before dinner at 333 Pacific. This is the same hotel they lived at for a short time while picking out their first apartment together. The ring is a platinum, 1 carat Ocean Blue Diamond surrounded by 36 smaller diamonds in a square setting.
