Mérida International Airport (MID)

The closest airport is Mérida International Airport (MID), just 15 minutes from downtown. American Airlines, United, and Delta all fly here, with nonstop service from Atlanta, Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, Orlando, and Miami. If you’re coming from another city, we recommend booking a U.S. layover instead of a layover within Mexico. That way, you’ll avoid the stress of a lengthy Customs line during a tight connection.

Cancún International Airport (CUN)

If you find a great flight deal to Cancún International Airport (CUN), you can still get to Mérida easily! From Cancún, it’s about a 3–4 hour trip by car or bus. The ADO buses are comfortable, air-conditioned, and run frequently between the airport and Mérida’s main bus terminal. You can also book a private shuttle or rent a car if you’d like to explore along the way—there are beautiful stops like Valladolid and cenotes worth a dip.

This hotel is located directly on Paseo de Montejo, the city’s most iconic and elegant boulevard, and will serve as the departure point for our wedding shuttle. Staying here offers the most convenient option for transportation to and from the venue. Paseo de Montejo is one of Mérida’s most beautiful and lively areas. Modeled after grand European avenues, it’s known for its wide, tree-lined sidewalks, historic mansions, monuments, and vibrant atmosphere. From Fiesta Americana, guests can easily walk to restaurants, cafes, bars, museums, and shops.

Just a short distance away, Hyatt Regency Mérida is another great option for guests who want to be near Paseo de Montejo while enjoying a slightly quieter, more resort-style setting. The Hyatt is about a 3–5 minute walk from Paseo de Montejo and a 2–3 minute walk from Fiesta Americana if you plan to join the shuttle to our venue there.
