Born and raised in Karachi, I started life with humble beginnings and a basketball in hand. I wasn’t just on the school basketball team—I captained it, led us to championships, and basically lived for the thrill of the game. When I wasn’t running up and down the court, I was deep into Physics textbooks or crafting debate arguments (LUMUN in Lahore? Yes, I was there!). In 2010, I packed my curiosity for the cosmos and headed to the U.S. to study Astrophysics. Those college years? Pure magic. I spent my days exploring the universe—literally—researching globular clusters and learning just how small (and yet important) we all are in the grand scheme of things. I’m one of six in a tight-knit family—two younger brothers, a youngest sister, and the best parents anyone could ask for. Somewhere along the way, my love for solving mysteries shifted from galaxies to data. Today, I’m an Analytics Manager at Allstate Insurance, where I untangle complex problems in data and finance—kind of like solving a cosmic puzzle, but with fewer telescopes and more spreadsheets. When the workday ends, my hobbies keep life exciting: movies, new restaurants, family time, travel—and then there’s the adventurous stuff, like cage diving with sharks, snorkeling in the open ocean, and generally saying “Why not?” to anything that gets the heart racing.
