The Nikkah is the Islamic marriage ceremony and marks the official beginning of our marriage in the eyes of followers of Islamic faith and our families. It is a ceremony centered on mutual love, commitment, and partnership, witnessed by our community and loved ones.
The ceremony will begin with guests being seated, followed by a short sermon and recitation. We will then complete and sign the marriage contract and formally accept the marriage. After the ceremony, we’ll celebrate together with food, photos, and time with family and friends.
Guests are not expected to participate in any religious practices. We simply ask everyone to dress formally, remain quiet and attentive during the ceremony, and join us in celebrating with kindness and warmth.
