Austin and I met somewhere around 15 years ago when chat rooms & websites were how people began connecting online. We were both in search for new friends on a queer site, Downlinke where we first learned we both from San Jose and knew many of the same people. The quick chats quickly became countless private messages and before we knew it, we had become good friends. We were instantly comfortable with one another and the chemistry was almost right…but of course, timing, age, and past relationships were always a factor, so we remained just friends. Throughout the years we fell off and on in contact but this last time, the connection was no longer something we could ignore. Our time had finally come to take the leap into eternal queer bliss.
