We’re so excited to be finally taking this next big step in our relationship, and want to share our love story with our guests. This is a story of fate and to trust that what is meant to be will always find its way. Over a decade ago, Anthony made the decision to attend college at Michigan Tech in Houghton, MI, which is just a few short miles away from where Jill was finishing up high school. Anthony and his basketball teammates and friends would frequently go to the local Applebee’s, where Jill was working as a server and they both caught each other’s eye. After college graduation, Anthony moved back to Marquette and it appeared that their paths were going in separate directions. It wasn’t until a few years later, Jill moved to Marquette to attend college at Northern Michigan University. After a year of living in the area, she bumped into Anthony again. It seems that this was part of the plan all along! Anthony asked her out and she agreed, they had their first date over a cup of coffee—and he hit it out of the park! In that moment, they knew what they had was special, and made their relationship official two months later. They have been making each other laugh ever since! We are firm believers in what is meant to be will be, because we are living proof of it. Six years down, forever to go!
