The "Cowboy" Starbucks
Want a pick-me-up? We highly recommend visiting this store because it is Arizona's only western themed Starbucks! THE LORE: The city of Apache Junction, deeply tied to their roots of the Old West, would only approve this Starbucks location if it did not interfere with the integrity of the architecture on historic Apache Trail. This then coined what the location is today, an adobe style structure akin to the architecture of our recent past. The inside takes on a sleek mid-century modern vibe with very comfy chairs, but the outside screams "COWBOY". Thus we nick-named this the Cowboy Starbucks.
Tortilla Flat
Another historical and picturesque spot to add to your must-see list while you are here! The epitome of towns in the old west. Not too far of a drive from the venue but drive carefully as the road up the mountain is very narrow and winding.
