The adventure kicks off as we land in Bangkok, Thailand. Excitement bubbles over with VIP treatment through immigration and a private ride whisking us away to the chic Maitria Mode Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok hotel. The first day is all about unwinding and gearing up for the amazing journey ahead!
Day 2: Railway & floating market adventure
Day 2 dives into Bangkok’s vibrant scene! We’ll explore the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market on a private tour, gliding through lively waterways and fields while hunting for unique finds. As night falls, we’ll hop on a Tuk Tuk —a Thai twist on a rickshaw taxi— for the Best Eats Midnight Food Tour, sampling Bangkok’s favorite late-night bites under the stars!
Day 3: From the bustling city to serene mountains
After breakfast, we'll be picked up for a short flight from Bangkok to the tranquil mountains of Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, a local delicacy, "Khao Soi," will await us and we'll check into Siri Village Boutique Hotel, nestled in the heart of the historic Chiang Mai. In the afternoon, we're booked for a relaxing spa experience at Cheeva Spa, where we will enjoy a soothing body scrub, aromatherapy massage, and facial treatment.
Day 4: Wedding Day!
Today's the day! At Keep in Touch, surrounded by the cozy charm of the café and the vibrant greenery of the greenhouse, our wedding day will finally be here. Just the two of us, sharing vows and stealing kisses, while our friends and family celebrate from afar, a world away. With a team of photographers, videographers, and stylists ensuring we look our best, we'll feel like stars in our own love story. As the night embraces us, we'll dance beneath the stars, lost in love, in a celebration that feels like it's just for us, a memory we'll treasure forever.
Day 5: Unleashing our Inner Chef with Chef Yui
On our first day as newlyweds, we dive into Thai cuisine with a hands-on cooking class led by renowned TV chef Yui. From navigating bustling markets to mastering local cooking techniques, every moment promises to be a culinary adventure and serve as our own version of breaking bread.
Day 6: Majestic Encounters with Elephants and Hill Tribes
Today, we will embark on a journey of awe and wonder as we encounter the majestic creatures at Elephant Dream Valley. After an intimate encounter walking, feeding and bathing these gentle giants, we will immerse ourselves in the rich culture of the Karen Hill Tribe, learning their customs and traditions amidst breathtaking scenery. Our day ends with a peaceful bamboo raft ride down a river surrounded by lush scenery.
Day 7: From Chiang Mai to Phuket's White Sands and Emerald Waters
Our journey will take us from the mountains of Chiang Mai to the sunny pristine shores of Phuket. With our private villa and infinity pool overlooking the turquoise waters, we'll spend the day basking in the sun-drenched beaches or indulging in rejuvenating spa treatments, embracing the island paradise.
Day 8: Discover the underwater world at Koh Phi Phi
Today's adventure takes us to the stunning Phi Phi Islands for a scuba diving experience into the mesmerizing depths of Koh Phi Phi. We’ll explore vibrant coral reefs, swim alongside exotic fish, and maybe even spot a leopard shark or two. As we surface, our hearts will be full, knowing we've experienced the magic of Thailand's underwater world.
Day 9: A day of leisure in Phuket
A relaxed day in Phuket is on the agenda, with no set plans but to enjoy the island’s beauty. Lounging at the resort, hitting the beach, or exploring Phuket at our own pace will offer a chance to soak in the vibrant culture and natural beauty.
Day 10: Exploring Phang Na Bay's hidden treasures by sea canoe
We’ll embark on a journey through Phang Na Bay by sea canoe, navigating hidden caves and lagoons surrounded by limestone cliffs and marine life. Dining under the stars on a traditional Thai boat will make this enchanting paradise even more special.
Day 11: Another day of blissful relaxation in Phuket
With no agenda but to enjoy the beauty of Phuket, we'll embrace another day of leisure, relishing in the serenity of our surroundings. Whether we choose to explore the island's hidden gems or simply unwind on the pristine beaches, the day will be ours to revel in the tranquility of paradise.
Day 12: Returning to the Enchantment of Chiang Mai
Returning to Chiang Mai, we'll settle into the elegant Aksara Heritage hotel. We’ll explore vibrant streets and get ready for the annual Yi Peng Lantern Festival, where thousands of lanterns will light up the night sky, symbolizing new beginnings and the release of misfortunes.
Day 13: A day of exploration in Chiang Mai
Today will be ours to wander the ancient streets of Chiang Mai, discovering hidden temples, bustling markets, and charming cafes around every corner. Whether we choose to embark on a culinary adventure, indulge in a relaxing spa treatment, or simply soak in the vibrant atmosphere, the day will be ours to savor every moment of this enchanting city.
Day 14: Reaching the peak of Thailand's beauty at Doi Inthanon National Park
Our final full day in Thailand will lead us to the breathtaking heights of Doi Inthanon National Park, where we'll be awed by the beauty of Thailand's highest peak. Surrounded by lush forests and cascading waterfalls, we'll immerse ourselves in the tranquility of nature, exploring hidden trails and encountering vibrant hill tribe communities along the way.
Day 15: Farewell, Chiang Mai
On the last day, a late flight leaves time to soak up the final moments of the Thai adventure. With fantastic memories and a deeper appreciation for Thai culture, it’s time to embark on the next chapter ahead as husband and wife.
Day 16: Seoul, Korea
Before heading home, we’ll make the most of a long layover in Seoul, Korea. Spending the day exploring this vibrant city is the perfect way to squeeze in one more country on our journey. From bustling markets to delicious street food, it’s an exciting bonus adventure before the final leg of the trip!
