Kenny and Myrakle met during the week of July 4, 2021, shortly after both had relocated to Houston. Hoping to meet new people, they each turned to dating apps and happened to "match." Initially, Myrakle was hesitant to meet in person, but that changed on July 10, 2021, when they finally connected at Waterway Square. The chemistry was immediate, and the connection felt effortless. After a few months of growing closer, Kenny officially asked Myrakle to be his girlfriend on November 4, 2021, just three days before her birthday. From that moment on, they’ve been inseparable.

It was a beautiful, sunny New Year’s Eve in 2024 when Kenny and Myrakle went on a date to take their annual photo at the Waterway, the special place where they first met. They were celebrating the close of another year together, but what Myrakle didn’t know was that this day would be far from ordinary. As they walked and reflected on their journey together, Kenny led her to a quiet spot near a peaceful pond. He sat her down and began expressing his deep love and appreciation for her. After a few heartfelt moments, they stood up to continue their stroll when suddenly, everything changed. Myrakle turned around to see Kenny down on one knee, surrounded by flashing cameras, holding out a ring. She was completely stunned, having had no idea he planned to propose, especially on New Year’s Eve, a day that also holds special meaning as her father’s birthday. It was the perfect, most meaningful way to end the year, and without hesitation, Myrakle said yes.
