We met in May 2017 and had our first date at Panera Bread. Though we were both nervous, we felt an instant connection! We started dating July 30, 2017 and dated long distance due to school. From thousands of miles traveled, late night FaceTime calls, and happy weekends spent together, we are so blessed to have been able to make living in different cities work for us. Every day we find new reasons to fall more deeply in love and we cannot wait to become Mr. and Mrs. Boddie!

Corey had planned to surprise me by proposing in front of Cinderella's castle during our planned trip to Disney at the end of May. Due to recent events, we had to reschedule our trip, but that wasn't going to stop Corey from bringing a Disney proposal home! On April 11, 2020, our families had a socially distanced Easter celebration where we had an Easter egg hunt for the kids. While we were counting the eggs to make sure they were all found, Corey began to say that an egg was still missing (to which I insisted he was wrong about). He then reached to take a large Easter egg out from behind a Cinderella castle display and got on one knee to propose. It was the most special day that we will never forget!
