I found the one whom my soul loves

Ali prayed for Godly friends and to be connected with like-minded individuals. While playing basketball at Promenade Park in Corona, Ali met someone that ended up inviting him to church. At the time I was one of the leaders in the ministry, and was tasked with greeting all new members and making sure they felt welcomed. Without a thought, Ali came and sat next to me, then Bible Study commenced. I shared my experience in losing my cousin, and after some others shared, Ali felt led to share his experience in losing his grandmother. I remember he got teary-eyed, and my only thought at the time was "this poor baby; I just want to hold him". After Bible Study, the Holy Spirit told me to connect with him, and I did. Three weeks later he asked me to be his girlfriend.
