See the landmark that Round Rock was named after! In 1851 a small community was formed on the banks of Brushy Creek. Since the first bridge across Brushy Creek was not constructed until after 1890, the large “round rock” marked a good place for Native Americans, cattle drives, and stagecoaches to cross the creek.
Round Rock is home to its very own bat colony! You can get an excellent view of the bats departing from the bridge around 7:30pm. Watch up close and personal at the NAPA Auto Parts store or with a drink in your hand at the Rooftop at URBAN. Either way, you will have a mesmerizing experience!
