Meaghan picked up a closing shift at her job at Aroma Joe’s while in college at Plymouth State University. Usually, she always did opening shifts, so this was a rare occurrence that she would even be there at this time. Myles and Lucas came through the drive thru with a huge sub-woofer in the back of the car, and Meaghan made a comment about it, trying to make conversation. Another barista handed Myles and Lucas their drinks that Meaghan made. They came back around to the first window and Meaghan thought she made them wrong so she opened the window. Myles said he thought Meaghan was cute then asked for her number. Meaghan was hesitant, but gave it to him anyway. He texted her that night and said he was 18. Meaghan, being 21, was even more hesitant and didn’t text him again for about two weeks.
