A Tour of Urbino
A visit to Urbino is absolutely worth planning. Located on the rolling hills of the Marche region, facing the Adriatic Sea, the city of Urbino is a jewel of Renaissance art and architecture, rich in splendid buildings, important museums and wonderful churches. What to See Palazzo Ducale & Galleria Nazionale delle Marche (The Duke’s Palace and the Marche’s National Gallery), Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, Piazza della Repubblica, Birth house of Raffaello, Fortezza di Albornoz.
Palio dell'Oca di Cagli
This is the biggest event of the year in Laura's hometown of Cagli. It's an annual historic festival that includes a main event on Sunday, August 9th and a lot of celebrations with food, drinks, and much more. Those that are interest in experiencing some of Laura's hometown and it's history and culture this would be the perfect day to do it and you are all welcome to join us and attend this event the day after the wedding. Cagli is about a 45 minute drive from the estate.
