Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would like everyone to RSVP by April 1st. If you do not RSVP by this date, you will be marked at “not attending”. We hope to celebrate with everyone, this deadline will give our vendors ample time to prepare with our exact guest count.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up. Semi-formal attire is preferred with a seasonal touch. Think cocktail, midi, or floor length dresses in a colorful spring and summer pallet for women. Suits or dress pants with a button down shirt for men. Please no jeans. Our bridesmaids will be wearing pale yellow.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes there is parking on site at Black Oak Mountain Vineyard. If you need to leave your car overnight, it must be picked up by 10am the next morning.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We want to make sure everyone has a wonderful time and gets home safely! If you would like to take advantage of the shuttle service, it will transporting guests from the Marriott Springhill Suites in Auburn to Black Oak Mountain Vineyard. Round trip takes about 1 hour, to arrive on time the last shuttle will leave at 3:30pm from the hotel. There will also be rides back to the hotel every hour starting at 9:30pm and last shuttle (that the bride and groom will also take) will leave the venue at 11:30pm.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Earlier the better to take in the views and enjoy a pre-ceremony cocktail. Please arrive no later than 4pm.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately due to capacity limits at our venue and wishing to keep our wedding intimate with close friends and family only, we are only able to include those with names addressed in our invites

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be having a casual and optional day after lunch at a local brewery, stay tuned for more details!
