We recognize that traveling to Florida may be challenging for a variety of reasons, including those that are political, financial and personal. Please know that we are marrying in our adopted home to demonstrate that our commitment is stronger than the negativity that has sometimes been displayed in the state. It is our hope that witnessing our devotion may help to enlighten some who have not had a chance to know and love people like us. We also acknowledge that distance may be a barrier for some of you. Please do not feel obligated to attend; you have been included because of your importance in our lives. 

We simply ask that you send us your blessings from wherever you are on our special day.
