We’re having our wedding on Ryan’s grandparents farm! It’s a special place for his family—Ryan’s parents were married there years ago, and we knew we wanted to carry on the tradition. The ceremony and reception will both take place on the property, surrounded by lots of love, open fields and maybe some cows.
Garden party chic! We’re aiming for a polished but comfortable vibe—think sundresses, jumpsuits, and dress shirts with slacks. It’ll be hot and on grass, so breathable fabrics and sensible shoes are a good idea. No need for suits or gowns, but let’s skip the jeans, shorts, and super casual attire. Look nice, feel good!
Out of love and respect for our sweet Mamaw (and because we’re celebrating on her property), we’re keeping things mostly dry. That said, if you’d like to enjoy a beverage, feel free to bring your own and keep it discreet—think cooler-in-the-car vibes. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Maysville may be charming, but it’s small—so no Uber or Lyft here! We suggest coordinating rides with other guests or renting a car.
