The Wedding Website of Kenny Nguyen and Myky Truong
Introducing the incredible people standing by our side! Their love and support have shaped who we are, and we’re so grateful to have them with us on this special day.

Leina Hoang

Bridesmaid

Leina has known Myky ever since Myky was evicted from her mother’s womb. Although they share a lot of special memories, one of Leina’s favorites memories include when Myky was riding a bike and Leina shouted her name to get her attention. Myky was taken by surprise, fell off her bike, and yelled to her mom that Leina had pushed her off the bike. Leina’s mom was with her outside and was able to defend her innocence 🤣. Myky and Leina became besties over the years and often look back at laugh at this funny moment. In middle school, Myky made Leina a handmade book which included an illustration of the memory. Their bond was strengthened through their shared childhood and they continue to share unconditional love and support for one another!

Tony Nguyen

Best Man

I’ve known Kenny since birth—not like I had much of a choice. That’s how it goes when you’re the little brother. Growing up meant sharing a room, constantly losing the fight for Nintendo time, and learning early on that Kenny always had a way of staying one step ahead—especially when it came to getting out of chores. But no matter what I was up to, whether I needed backup sneaking around or just some support, he always had my back. He even showed up to my volleyball games and nearly tore my legs apart trying to help whenever I caught a cramp. Some of my favorite memories are from tagging along on his prom shoots, basically acting as his unpaid intern—carrying bags, holding lights, and doing whatever needed doing. But really, it was just a fun excuse to hang out and spend time together.

Lisa Nguyen

Bridesmaid

My favorite memory would be when we use to have our “daily” webcam session 😂 We would either call on skypr / oovoo, OR we would try to find each other on Omegle 🤣 Looking back at old memories, I grew to really love this picture of us. It shows how our friendship really is. Always having each other back!

Danny Nguyen

Best Man

I guess you could say I’ve known Kenny my whole life—fresh out of the womb and this guy just spawned into my life... or more like I spawned into his. He always jokes that he wanted a sister instead of me, but deep down, I know he’s glad he got me 😛. Being the youngest, Kenny has always looked out for me and does his best to have my back in any situation. Anytime I want to go out, I have him break the news to our dad because I know his word has a 100% success rate. On top of that, Kenny is basically one of my three wallets (with Tony being the second). Anytime I want to buy something—or need help buying anything—he never hesitates to pull out the card, especially when it comes to food. Some of my favorite memories with Kenny are our weekend dinners. Not only do I get to eat FREE FOOD, but I also get to spend quality time with him and we get to have our little debriefs. The best part is when we both eat way too much, full out of our mind, and on our car ride home it is just me nonstop yapping. He gets mad for some reason but to me it’s funny. Although we don’t get to do those dinners as often anymore because he never has time for me, I know we’ll get back to them soon. I could not have asked for a better oldest brother. I truly got blessed with the best one.

Jin Kim

Bridesmaid

Myky and I swiped right into an eternity of friendship. Quite frankly, I don't think we knew what we were signing up for on October 15, 2021, when we first exchanged "Happy Friday!" messages and talked about looking for gym buddies (yes, I looked up our first messages). One of my favorite memories with Myky has to be when we first discovered Scott's Antique Market, which has since become a tradition of sorts. We've collectively spent way too much money there on jewelry, always supporting each other's purchases without blinking an eye—under the guise that we were just there to get out of the house and get our steps in. Every second weekend of the month, I knew I was guaranteed to hang out with Myky, and this went on for over a year straight. We've created so many traditions together, and I can't wait for you to create special traditions with Kenny in your new home!

Billy Nguyen

Groomsman

I met Kenny since I was a teenager growing up in our church. He has always been that reliable and down to earth guy that many of us might know him as. As we’ve both gotten older over the years he’s become a role model, mentor, and friend to me. My favorite memories with Kenny is all the times we worked so closely together volunteering to help teach and mentor the youth at our church, by working with him i’ve learned what it means to give your all to something I love (even if it drives you insane at points) and those moments have really pointed me in the right direction!

Janny Pham

Bridesmaid

I met Myky through TNTT and right off the bat, her warm heart and genuine kindness made us become great friends. Through the years, no matter what life has thrown at us, we have always kept in contact and she has always been one of my biggest supporters. During our virtual exploration days during COVID, Myky met Kenny and I was immediately drawn to his attention to detail and his ability to show her care despite the distance. They both have great influences in my life and witnessing their love has been such an honor. I am so excited for their big day and to see the wonderful life they will build together!

Theresa Pham

Groomswoman

None of my attempts at matchmaking for Kenny ever worked out, but the one day I did not intentionally do anything was the day Fates Collided! Our friendship has evolved so much since when we first met back in 2013. Though we could go months without talking, we pick up right where we left off whenever we do. From Journeying Together to church events and wedding gigs, Kenny and I have been there for each other through… a lot! I always knew I could depend on him to match my vibe, whether it was going out to eat after church or instigating matchmaking attempts for our friends. He was down for all my shenanigans! Kenny was our church’s best photographer; I will take this to the grave! Why? Whenever anyone needed a new Facebook profile picture, we knew one could be found once he uploaded the photo album online. Perhaps my constant requests for photos helped our friendship develop, but it was not until around COVID that our friendship lit up like Surging Sparks! I remember we would take walks around the park, sharing our thorns and roses of being in relationships to being single. I lived vicariously through his dating stories, always hoping things would work out for him, but they never did… until he met Hotlanta (aka Myky), of course! The day Myky and Kenny met was when my matchmaking days for him ended… and I couldn't be happier for him. Kenny was always willing to be my wingman back then, so I am honored to be his groomswoman on his big day. Let’s get #mykynneth married!
