Hey Hey! My name is Kiara Brown and I am the HBIC of the IDC. I currently reside in Chester, Va. Myke’l was one of the very first friends I met during our freshman year at Virginia State University in some weird math class called "Finite Math." We have been inseparable from engaging in inappropriate extra curriculum activities in college to becoming the HBIC for her special day. I’m so honored and happy to be able to be by her side as her Maid of Honor and witness this beautiful union.

The Answer Hello All, My name is Dwight Hall. I met Carlos at our church Corinthian Baptist Church. From there our brotherhood was formed. We started our bond going to every go-go and club in the DMV that we could make it to. After graduating from Virginia State, Carlos and I then made the single most critical move of our brotherhood and that would be moving together in Towson, MD. Trust me when I say MANY memories were made. The rest is history from there. I am honored to serve as his best man on his wedding day but more importantly support him however I can in his lovely marriage with Myke’l.

Hello all! My name is Bryashia Buggs, the Ace Boon Coon of the IDC and I am from Charlotte, NC. Myke’l was the first friend I made through Delta and from that day forward she started getting me into all types of trouble. lol. But in the midst of that trouble, we made lifelong memories that I wouldn’t trade for the world and I would do it all again! Now my girl is getting married and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of the IDC. Cheers to adding yet another set of great memories to the list!

The Glove Greetings and Salutations family I am Shareef Hood. I currently reside in Charlotte, NorfKalina. I met Carlos “Blessed” Young on my very first day at Thee Virginia State University. From walking around campus that night to graduation a bond was formed that blood couldn’t make any stronger. After 10 years of friendship we have shared in many experiences - some happy and some not so much, have endless insiders - we got the voodoo for you, and most importantly we continue to challenge and lift each other up! I’m more than grateful to take part in and witness this special milestone as a member of the Groom Squad. This will be one for the books!

Heyyyy Y’all! My name is Alexus Lyttle and I am “Pooh Fiesty” of the IDC. I’m the rowdy one out of the bunch so, don’t start none won’t be none! I’m from Williamsburg, VA. Myke’l and I met while working our fingers to the bone at Bath and Body Works lol and we instantly clicked and later became roommates. Since then we have been the Pam and Gina duo y’all love to hate! The Mamba I’m Ryan some may know me as Spongé. I met Los on the yard of the most illustrious Virginia State University. If you were there, you probably may know we were some of the heavy hitters on the yard. That friendship grew from Trojans on the yard to Mo’s and Yo’s and many Towson nights. Despite him being the all-time leader in steals(lol) I’m glad to have made the GroomSquad. It’s an honor and a privilege to share the moment with yall. Love yall both. We’re gonna make this an epic memory.

After talking her out of it, I was convinced that she needed me in her life lmao. Since then we’ve been two peas in an EXTREMELY LIT pod lol. Dr. J My name is Jullian Starks, I’m from the DC/PG area and I met Carlos freshman year of high school, we honestly never spoke much but always has conversations like we knew each other and each year after our bond got stronger. 2012 our brotherhood took a big turn I saw him as an older brother, times I wanted to fight him but realized he was there to hold me accountable. He brought me around his family after my mom left and they treat me like their own. I still owe him a car door because of my birthday. It’s really more than an honor to be a part of this wedding and the journey. Love you both and congratulations.

I met Myke’l through Delta and we created great memories together such as doing drive-bys, making plays, and getting drunk. I can’t wait to get everybody drunk so we can all create another great memory together with the Bride to be! I am so excited to witness this beautiful union and can’t wait for the big day!

I’m Terrell Littlejohn, I met Carlos back in 9th-grade Algebra when I thought he was a super cool kid and he thought I was a bully that was gonna make him do my homework. Turns out we were both completely wrong lol. 14 years later and we still GANG from chilling in McDonald’s parking lots for hours to getting stamps on our passports the adventures we’ve been on can’t even be put into words. You’ve always been the person I call when I need advice or if my life is just in disarray. So when you asked me to be a groomsman there was only one possible answer YES why would I not stand behind my good man on one of the biggest days of his life. Los and Myk I love you both so much and I am honored to be a part of the most lit wedding of 2022!! I can’t wait!!!

Chocolate Thunder Hello Everybody! My Name is Terrell Jones, I’m the Baltimore friend of Carlos and one of the 12 Scholarkids from 2011 Langston. I met Los on the first day of college where after a quick basketball game (dropping 40 on his head top), learning how to death block and exchange on the PG/DC vs Baltimore Beef, he became one of my closest friends. 10 years and many many crazy memories later we are here. I know Los as the ultimate people person and the fun starter (with the weird ability to make himself anybody’s friend after 10 minutes). It has been amazing to see the growth of my dear brother from a young college kid and life of the party into a father and goal-oriented Husband. Thank you both Mykel and Los, I’m extremely grateful and honored to be selected as a groomsman.

I met Carlos aka Mook on the very first day at Virginia State in 2011, and he has truly been one of the closest brothers I have had since. I really could go on about the memories we share. 10 years in and he’s literally been a big role in everything I’ve done like a brother should. To watch him grow from the childish instigator to a profound definition of what a real man is has been an honor to be a part of. I met Myke’l freshmen year at VSU and child it’s been an adventure from there. From having the same classes together, showing off during our internship, and becoming her travel bestie!
