What started as a simple swipe turned into something much greater than we ever imagined. Although we first met on Tinder (sorry, moms 😅), we like to say Kent State is our cover-up story. But truthfully, it was our natural connection, easygoing conversations, and undeniable chemistry that kept bringing us back to each other. Like any real love story, we’ve had our ups and downs. But through it all, God always found a way to guide us back to each other. Over time, we didn’t just grow as individuals—we grew together. What we found was deeper than love; we found friendship, partnership, and a connection that never faded. Even during the moments we were “off,” somehow we were still “on.” No one ever replaced the other, and no one ever came close. Along the way, we both shared that we had dreams of being married to one another. Looking back now, we truly believe those dreams were glimpses of what God had already planned for us. Eddie knew Myija was the one when her sister asked what he liked about her—and he quickly corrected her and said, “What I love about your sister…” And Myija knew Eddie was the one when she asked him to watch Doc McStuffins with her—and he didn’t hesitate to say yes.
