Jessi Dittmar

Bride

Jessi is the love of my life and I am the luckiest man to get to go through life with her. She is smart, funny, strong and can do anything she has ever put her mind to. Although I annoy her with my constant dancing and singing, she still continues to love and tolerate me. Although I'm still not fully convinced she isn't just doing it to get to my dog. I enjoy getting to brag about her accomplishments to friends and coworkers. Easiest way is to show them the cakes she makes. Having Jessi say "yes" was the greatest moment of my life so far and I can't wait to make so many more moments with her.

Nick Harper

Groom

Nick and I first met at OMB Brewery here in Charlotte, NC. Both of us being Charlotte transplants, Dog lovers and surprisingly rubber duck enthusiasts we quickly found we had a lot in common. After I tricked his little grumpy dog into loving me, I tricked Nick into the same. I've found in him someone who respects my voice, and encourages me in all things. Someone who is the calm to my storm, and my memory as I've probably lost something for the 15th time today. He is a man who gives with his whole heart and we are so lucky to be each other's best friends! Nick, You never fail to amaze me. Everyday there is something new that makes me love you even more than the day before. I am the luckiest that you chose me.

Christy Wetzel

Maid of Honor

I met Christy back in my days at ADT in Rochester, NY. She was so quiet, and so nice I knew I had to befriend her. I don't know what I did to her because these days she's almost as loud as I am! The years have brought Christy to Texas where she lives with her Boyfriend Will, and myself to North Carolina but she has stuck through everything by my side, encouraging me every step of the way. I am truly blessed to be able to call her my Best Friend. I didn't even have to ask her to be my maid of honor, she knew she was my #1. She's been #TeamNick since our first date so we are so grateful to have her stand beside us on our special day.

Brandon Jackson

Best Man

Brandon became my best friend after we worked together at Velocitor and discovered we both share a love of video games and the same football team (Go Bengals) and many other interests. Even after we both moved on from that job we stayed best friends and continued to be lunch buddies and hang out constantly.

Channon Harris

Bridesmaid

Channon is spirited, kind, and full of laughter. She takes much joy in my frantic nature and she is the perfect balance to me during my work day. Most importantly, she's become one of my most treasured friends outside of work. I love getting to hear "Morgan (her son) stories" and spoiling him to no end with surprises as well as making her Mom question her sanity on the regular as she bursts out in the full on chuckles from my shenanigans. My Channonigans? She's been a long time fan of the Nick and Jessi show and we are so excited to include her in 2020's "season finale".

James Boman

Groomsman

Boman and I met at Elon while out drinking with some friends and became great friends ourselves in an instant due to shared love of music and video games. Boman is one of the smartest guys I have ever met. It amazes me how much knowledge of everything he has and continues to expand on that. He can play just about any instrument you could throw at him and even restore old instruments to like new.

Jessie Goddard

Bridesmaid

At ADT in Charlotte I worked closely with a Service tech named Chris. The longer we worked together the more Chris told me about how I had to meet his Daughter Jessie because I reminded him so much of her. I actually met her brother and sister Christina (who is our photographer for our special day) almost a year before meeting her! Life would have it, Jessie and I ended up becoming roommates, when she finally met me (haha). She made it through living with me and we've remained good friends ever since. She's a fellow true crime fan as well as passionate about helping others and being a strong female role model. Neither one of us have admitted to Chris he was right, but "just don't tell your Dad" has become a running joke about our friendship.

Matthew Riell

Groomsman

Matt and I worked together for a few years at on of my old companies. Even though I have moved on from there, we continue to do our somewhat weekly dinner and movie on Thursday nights and our yearly beer festival. We share a lot of the same interests in programming, gaming and movies/tv shows. He was a great coworker and continues to be a great friend.

Sasha Delucia

Bridesmaid

I still remember the day Sasha called me to tell me about a job open down in NC and asked me if I was serious about being in Charlotte. About 2 weeks later I showed up at her door, with my life from NY in my car and she became not only the one who helped me come to the state I've loved since my teens, but my first true friend here. While I'm sure she wanted to kill me sometimes she has never been anything short of encouraging and loving. As she's a fellow NY transplant, I've always been happy to have her guidance, support and friendship while I've rebuilt my life in NC and beyond. She's my one and only "NY Sissy (Sister)".

Tom Milan

Groomsman

Tom and I started together at our current job around the same time and we have become good friends since. Tom is always willing to give the shirt off his back and make time for people even through his busy schedule of yoga and electric biking. Tom is also a very talented furniture maker and super handy with DIY tasks!

Christina Decker

Officiant

Christina is a fellow "Murderino" (Jessi's MFM Podcast Social Group) and so excited to be officiating our day she's been putting in extra time to make sure some of our more "unique" wedding ideas are perfect. She travels participating in Highland games and is a Mom to two pretty amazing kids. She has a kind and loving presence to her and we are both so excited she was willing to be our Officiant!
