What time should I arrive?

Answer

Aim for 5:00 PM! The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM, and arriving at 5:00 gives us time to finish photos and gives you plenty of time to find your seat.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

A little bit of both! We’ll be outdoors for the ceremony and cocktail hour, then head inside for dinner and dancing.

Is everything in the same location?

Answer

Yes, everything will be in one place! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held at Alexander Homestead (4717 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215).

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There’s plenty of parking at the venue for everyone. Just a heads-up that cars can’t stay overnight, so please plan ahead if needed.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’re going semi-formal! Dress up a bit, but make sure you’re comfy enough for a night of fun and dancing.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Although we adore your little ones, our ceremony will be adults-only. We want everyone to let loose, celebrate, and enjoy a night out. Thank you for understanding!

Am I allowed to take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

Please save the photos and videos for after the ceremony. We have a photographer and videographer capturing the day, so you can relax and enjoy the moment with us.

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Since we’ve already built our home together, we have everything we need! If you’d like to give a gift, a contribution to our honeymoon fund would mean the most to us, helping us create unforgettable memories on our first adventure as newlyweds. You can contribute easily through our wedding website.
