Downtown Naperville is hardly a "small town," but manages to maintain that feel. Full of coffee shops, restaurants, salons + spas, boutique stores, and fun nightlife, it's always a good time going out here! This is where Mary grew up.
Fun, unique brewery, exclusive to Naperville. Awesome beers (but no food). Great place to grab a drink and hang out with friends!
The Morton Arboretum has beautiful plant and animal life year round. It's a great place for a leisurely afternoon enjoying nature.
One of Mary's favorite breweries, Two Brothers TapHouse has incredible beer and food. Just down the street a bit from the hotels, it would be a great place to enjoy dinner in a unique atmosphere.
Close to the hotels where we have room blocks, this restaurant is one of Mary's favorites! Exceptional wine and amazing food; if you have the time, check it out!
Great for a cheap night out. The Comedy Shrine offers tickets on Groupon often and they never fail to entertain with their improv. Brian + Mary go here quite often, and are always looking forward to the next chance to go back. (Side note: there is a huge room full of collectibles from various TV shows and movies...really cool!)
One of our favorite date nights (we frequent this place!), the iO Theater in Chicago has great standup and improv comedy. Some of the big names who have trained here include Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Chris Farley, and Jason Sudeikis.
The Magnificent Mile is a fun area for a true Chicago shopping experience. Lots to do (and lots of places to spend money)!
Affectionately called "The Bean" by many, Cloud Gate is a staple for tourists of Chicago. It is also near the place where Brian + Mary got engaged! A fun experience to see it and take a few pics.
A fun place to walk around (weather permitting) and be right on Lake Michigan. There are often boat cruises available to enjoy!
For the BEST deep dish, look no further than Bartoli's. This is our favorite pizza place, and (especially if you're already in the city) it is worth the trek.
