We met in 2001 at Southern University. We had a class together, and he knew some of my family here. We dated in college briefly, but too young to realize we really wanted to be together. We were best friends and did not want that to change. Seven years ago, we tried to make it work. The long distance and the timing was not right. So, we went back to friends. In 2021, we decided that it was time to listen to all the signs and make it work. This time was God's timing. In 2024, he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. Of course I said YES!!! Now we are so excited to share our big day with everyone.
