We’re getting married!

Short story: It all started with a question about pie. Key lime pie. Long story: so maybe it started a little before that… Rachel and Michael first officially “met” while she was a cast member and he was running tech at a local church’s VBS in the summer of 2021. They didn’t actually start getting to know each other until later that year when Michael happened to be a resident at another local church where Rachel worked as a preschool teacher. A simple poll on Instagram about favorite pie flavors that November however, would change their lives forever. A question about pie turned into an invitation to go bowling, Bowling turned into a week straight of texting back & forth all day long, & texting turned into their very first date being only a week later. It wasn’t long into their relationship that both of them knew that what they had was something special, and on October 16th, 2022, after almost a year of dating, Michael popped the question.
