Our story began on October 19, 2017, during the very first Robotics Club meeting. Isaiah had just been skipped to the eighth grade, and Mychaela was balancing cheerleading alongside robotics. A simple conversation that day changed everything. When Mychaela jokingly said she wasn’t “smart enough” to be skipped ahead, Isaiah reassured her with kindness, telling her she wasn’t dumb at all. It was a small moment, but it sparked a connection that felt effortless, genuine, and unexpectedly meaningful. From that day forward, Mychaela and Isaiah became best friends. They talked every day, started clubs together, supported each other through school, and remained close even during the challenges of COVID. Their bond grew naturally, the kind of connection that feels truly guided by God. On July 7, 2020, their friendship deepened into love when Isaiah asked Mychaela to be his girlfriend. Over the years, that love has only grown, and they are so grateful to God for every step of their journey together. As they enter this next chapter, Mychaela and Isaiah are thankful for their beginning, their growth, their shared faith, and the life they are building together.
