From a Photo to Forever Our story began in April 2021 in the most unexpected way. Through a connection between my mom and a mutual family friend, Ernest saw my face for the first time. Not on an app or at a party, but on a graduation blanket! He says from that moment, he knew there was something special about the girl on that blanket. Our very first conversation lasted eight hours, a marathon phone call that ended with Ernest realizing he had just met his future wife. We spent that first summer inseparable, but life eventually took us in different directions. However, we never truly lost touch. Through the years, we remained each other’s quiet support system, cheering one another on from near and far. In the summer of 2024, God brought us back together, and we haven’t spent a day apart since. From navigating a life-altering incident and personal losses to celebrating our greatest milestones, every challenge has only strengthened our bond. On September 27, 2025, during a birthday trip to St. Thomas, Ernest asked me to be his wife. It was the easiest "Yes" of my life. We’ve seen each other at our highest and our lowest, and through it all, we’ve grown together. We can’t wait to start our "forever" with you on January 23, 2027.
