Chapter 1: Church Kids: As church kids, we shared countless Sunday mornings as Junior Ushers, or in the media booth. Countless Wednesdays at Bible Study taking in the word, while being study buddies. Volunteering for various activities and finding common ground in our shared faith as teenagers in the social media age. These early interactions were the building blocks of our friendship and connection. Chapter 2: Sweet 16 Our journey took an exciting turn when Mark Jr. had the honor of being an escort in Zarea’s Sweet 16 court. It was a magical night, filled with dancing, laughter, and a warmth of friendship that we nurtured for years. Little did we know that this event would be a significant chapter in our love story. This is when we first called ourselves childhood boyfriend and girlfriend. Chapter 3: Keep in Touch Throughout the years that followed, we continued to stay close, even as life took us in different directions. We celebrated each other achievements, supported one another through challenges, and cherished the bond that had grown between us. Our friendship and love for each other was a constant presence in our lives. Chapter 4: Making it Official: Will You Be Mine? In 2019, our love story took a turn that neither of us expected.
