Is this a formal event?

Answer

We hope you use our special night to dress up however you feel comfortable in our Western themed wedding (anything but flip flops or shorts works). Our bridal party will be wearing shades of blues.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love all our friend's and family's children! Due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate children on our wedding day. With the exception of children in the wedding party and immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a fun night out.

Invite only, we kindly ask you only attend with the number of people noted on your RSVP.

What if I forget to RSVP?

Answer

Unfortunately you will not be able to attend the wedding. If you were to show up, we would not be able to accommodate you with seating, food, or beverage. Please make sure you RSVP before the deadline.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask guests to arrive between 3:30 - 3:45 pm as the ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm. This will give you time to navigate any travel and find your seat. Please note, our ceremony will be held on a ski run (a graded terrain). Feel free to walk with a buddy down to the ceremony area for additional assistance. If you are late, you will be kindly asked by our venue staff to not enter the ceremony space. Please wait and enter during cocktail hour.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Public transportation via gondola. The gondolas are free to ride and provide transportation between various locations on the mountain and into the town of Telluride. Mountain Lodge Telluride provides shuttles to hotel guests to a select number of locations within the Mountain Village town. If you choose to drive to the venue, parking will be automatically valeted for a fee at MLT. Additional information regarding parking and transportation can be found on the travel page.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will both be held at Mountain Lodge Telluride (address is on the travel page). We were advised that the rooms tend to book up quickly and rooms that are blocked are only be held for a certain period of time before opened up to other hotel guests. There are plenty of other hotel/Airbnb options both on the mountain and in the town of Telluride. Check the travel page for additional information.

Mountain Lodge Telluride Booking and Information

PHONE RESERVATIONS To secure individual room reservations guests must call the Mountain Lodge at Telluride Reservations Department (866-368-6867) between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM Monday-Friday MST and identify themselves as members of the Radler-Newland Wedding. ON-LINE RESERVATION PROCEDURE Use this link shown on the travel page. DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION POLICIES All individual reservations require a deposit of 50% of total charges at the time of booking. Payment in full for individual reservations are due 14 days prior to arrival. If notice of cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to arrival, the Mountain Lodge at Telluride will retain full prepayment for the entire individual stay as liquidated damages. If notice of cancellation is received 14 days or more prior to arrival, the Mountain Lodge at Telluride will retain one night’s room and tax as liquidated damages. Cancellations must be made directly with the Mountain Lodge at Telluride Reservations Department. “No Shows” will be charged the nightly rate for the entire reserved stay. This “No Show” policy applies to late arrivals or early departures. The Hotel reserves the right to release any rooms not guaranteed 30 days prior to arrival. Any reservations made within 30 days of arrival will be at the normal Best Available Rate the Hotel is offering at the time and at the Hotel’s sole discretion. SPECIAL REQUESTS Wedding guests may also call Kaitlyn James for any special requests at the Mountain Lodge. Should parking be sold out, another paid parking facility (not owned by the hotel) is conveniently located next to the property - a short walk or free shuttle ride away.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is a free gondola service that is active until 12 am. Depending on which hotel you choose to stay at there may be different accommodations. The town of Telluride and the mountain town are fairly easy to navigate and walkable. Please see the travel page for additional information.

Since the ceremony is outside what happens if it rains?

Answer

The show will go on. If there is rain in the forecast, we will deal with the severity of the rain on the day of.
