So… here’s how it all started. Before our first date in December 2024, Mya told her roommate Haley that if George ever took her axe throwing, she’d probably know he was the one. Little did she know, George was already planning a surprise date with sushi and axe throwing. We talked for hours that night, and when it was time for George to go home, his car was nowhere to be seen. We ended up searching through the night, and one expensive date (and tow) later, there was something that we both knew but were scared to say: We'd do it all over again just to spend that time together. Safe to say, God knew exactly what He was doing. From the very beginning, our connection was immediate and deep. We could talk for hours, time moved quickly, and being by each other's side was a comfort we'd never known. Pretty early on, we both started to see the Lord clearly at work, leading us into something intentional and meant to last. Our relationship is built on choosing each other daily, pursuing one another well, and chasing the Lord above all else. We love the simple things: grocery store dates, beach days, sushi nights, and lots of laughter — usually because George is making fun of Mya for saying something dumb. One thing that’s always been true for us is this: we love each other more today than yesterday. We’re so grateful for the way this story has unfolded and for the people who have loved us through it. We can’t wait for this next season of life together, and even more, we can’t wait to celebrate it with you. See you in the Outer Banks!
