And so our greatest adventure begins...

Branden and Mya met during their first week attending The University of Tampa in Morsani Hall. It may be a cliche girl next door story, but they quickly became inseparable! They began dating in February of 2020 and just a few weeks later left for their Spring Break. Little did they know that would be the last time they saw each other for 4 months. Just a few days later, Covid-19 would send them home, Branden to Minnesota and Mya to North Florida. When school reopened in the Fall of 2020, Mya and Branden picked up their relationship right where they left off. Both living on campus again, this year in Jenkins Hall, Mya and Branden quite literally shared a wall (trust us, this was definitely unplanned!) Just like that, Branden and Mya's two years in undergrad had flown on by. For the next two years, they would spend their relationship in long distance. After some time at home, Branden would return to Tampa to pursue his M.S. in Entrepreneurship and Mya would be moving to Washington D.C. to pursue her M.A. in International Relations. The next couple years would be spent flying back and forth to visit each other for extended weekends. It was finally time for the biggest question of all. After getting her parents' blessing, Branden visited a family friend who was able to create Mya's dream ring, and surprised her to an evening with an amazing dinner at a new French restaurant and a walk around their school to a serenity garden, where earlier in the day Branden had planted several orchids, Mya's favorite Flower. Just a few days after their engagement, Mya and Branden put in an offer on their first home and closed a month later in September 2023. Filled with several fun projects, furniture shopping and more, their latest adventure has surely been their favorite!
