What's there to eat and drink?

Answer

Food is from the Walnut Grille in Newton. All food is vegetarian. Everything will be served buffet style. If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions please let us know so we can accommodate you. Appetizers and drinks will be available before the ceremony. Lunch will be after the ceremony and will include salads and entrees. There will be a self-serve bar of wine and beer. Please drink responsibly. When do I actually need to be there? I mean, can't I be fashionably late?

Answer

While you are invited for appetizers and to schmooze starting at 1:30, we intend to start the ceremony at 2:00. It'll be a short ceremony, so please try your best to be there before 2:00. We're happy to help with travel arrangements to the temple, just ask. If you are family, please be there at 1:30 for pictures.

Question

OMG! Those gifts are expensive. What should I do?

Answer

We love gifts! However, we want to be clear your gift is your friendship and you are not obligated to buy us something. If you would like to give us something not on the registry, talk to us about it and see if we'd like it. Gifts do not need to be material things. You're welcome to give use something when you come to the wedding if you do not want to use the registry. You are also welcome to mail us something. However, if you would like to buy off this registry you can choose to buy a whole gift or for any gift over $50, you can contribute to the gift. You may contribute any dollar amount. Some items on the registry are expensive and there is no pressure to meet 100% of any item. If you are unsure of what to give, please consider any amount to one of our three big funds: to travel, to sleep better, or to canoe.

If there is anything we can do to accommodate you or to make our celebration more enjoyable for you, please let us know. We'll do our best. It's impossible to predict everyone's wants and needs, so if there is something you really want or need, we need you to speak to us. We can't wait to see you and are thrilled for you to join us on our special day.
