We met during a grad school recruiting weekend. Rachel was being recruited and Chelsea was trying to recruit her. It didn't go... great. Flash ahead two years and we were watching Game of Thrones, grabbing beers after work, and complaining about all things grad school and science. An awesome friendship suddenly (and unexpectedly) became a relationship. Which certainly made our closed-quarters working arrangement into a whole new dynamic. See, we worked across the hall from each other in neighboring labs and already spent most of the day inhabiting the same space. So, what's the difference of just extending the amount of time together? A year and a half of living together, commuting together, working together, eating together and spending almost every waking and sleeping moment of our lives together showed that somehow, someway, we never tired of each other. And in all of that, we decided to spend the rest of forever together.
