Where is the wedding?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at a villa near Sitges, Spain. Sitges is a beach town about 30 minutes from Barcelona airport.

The wedding itself will take place on Saturday, September 12th. We'll follow up with more details soon, but expect there to be a few other events throughout the weekend, all optional!

All of the weekend’s festivities will take place nearby Sitges, Spain. Sitges is about 30 minutes from Barcelona Airport (BCN). Barcelona airport is accessible from most major interational airports - there are frequent direct flights on United, Delta and other major airlines that fly out of the NYC area.

We are currently working on securing a block of rooms at a hotel in the Sitges area. The day-of wedding festivities will take place at a villa nearby - we'll keep you posted once transportation is arranged.

Why near Barcelona?
Answer
Maggie's love for Pep Guardiola's unique style of coaching combined with Steve's deep love of Jamon (and other tasty stuff) led the couple to googling tons of wedding venues and happening to land on one that they both thought was beautiful... and also had availability. But seriously, Barca and the surrounding areas are amazing - if you've been, you know it. If you haven't yet been, we're excited to get to experience with you!

What will the weather be like?

The weather in Sitges in mid-September is a pleasant mix of warm, sunny days (around 75–80°F) perfect for the beach and cooler, pleasant nights (down to 63-68°F).

Is Barry invited?

He's 100% invited, but him and his pal Tony had plans that weekend, so he's gunna meet us after on the honeymoon. :)
