What is the dress code?

Mediterranean Formal We're celebrating in a beautiful natural setting in Spain - think light fabrics and comfortable elegance. Gentlemen inspiration: linen or warm weather friendly suits; chaquetillas welcome Ladies inspiration: flowing dresses (no need for floor length but go for it if that's your vibe) & festive separates welcome. The terrain is mostly on grass, so comfortable shoes (flats, wedges) are encouraged, heels are welcome for the courageous! Feel free to get funky and creative with your outfits - we want everyone to feel confident and comfortable, so by no means is this prescriptive.

Where is the wedding?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at a villa near Sitges, Spain called Alcazar del Garraf. Sitges is a beach town about 30 minutes from Barcelona airport. More details available on the Schedule page.

How do I get there?

Answer

All of the weekend’s festivities will take place nearby Sitges, Spain. Sitges is about 30 minutes from Barcelona Airport (BCN). Barcelona airport is accessible from most major interational airports - there are frequent direct flights on United, Delta and other major airlines that fly out of the NYC area.

Why near Barcelona?

Answer

Maggie's love for Pep Guardiola's unique style of coaching combined with Steve's deep love of Jamon (and other tasty stuff) led the couple to googling tons of wedding venues and happening to land on one that they both thought was beautiful... and also had availability. But seriously, Barca and the surrounding areas are amazing - if you've been, you know it. If you haven't yet been, we're excited to get to experience with you!

What will the weather be like?

The weather in Sitges in mid-September is a pleasant mix of warm, sunny days (around 75–80°F) perfect for the beach and cooler, pleasant nights (down to 63-68°F).
