Why does the venue name look different online?

Answer

Our venue recently changed ownership and has been renamed The Midnight Gem Galena (formerly Ashton Hill Farm Galena). If you are using GPS, please still use this address: 500 Wild Indigo Ln, Galena, IL 61036. Please note that onsite signage will still say Ashton Hill Farm on our wedding day, so don’t worry — you’re in the right place!

Please note that bridge construction and maintenance work is currently taking place on both the Julien Dubuque Bridge and U.S. 20/Illinois 84 bridge over the Galena River. We kindly encourage all guests to allow extra travel time and plan accordingly to ensure a smooth and stress-free arrival.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please plan to arrive around 4:00-4:15 PM to ensure you have plenty of time to find a seat and settle in.

Can I bring a date?

If you have received a plus one, they will be listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcomed?

Answer

We sure love your little ones, but we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. This rule excludes the little ones of our wedding party & immediate family, and will be listed on your invitation. We hope you enjoy a date night & we appreciate you making prior arrangements!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our families and friends get dressed up with us! Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white, cream, ivory or champagne. The ceremony will be held outside (weather permitting).
