Maid of Honor
Kendra and Jesse met in seventh grade at Bowling Green Junior High School, despite unknowingly living on the same street their entire lives. It was literally like love at first sight, but in the best friend kind of way. Literally, they were inseparable from the moment they met. Have you ever met anyone that is the total opposite from you, but also the complete same? Because that is exactly what they are. Their relationship is so strong that it has survived Jesse going to a different high school, moving to Texas, and then to Iowa. No matter how far away they are from each other, or where they are at in life the bond between those two never breaks. If you are ever with the two of them, the laughter and smiles never stop.
Bridesmaid
Sami and Jesse met at Sow 7, a farm that Jesse was sent to work for at Iowa Select Farms. Sami makes Jesse feel like she's not an only child by filling in the "big sister" role. She's always there when she needs her, but is always there to give her a kick in the butt if necessary! She is also one of her very best friends, and life definitely wouldn't be as interesting without her. They have shared countless laughs and memories over these past three years of knowing each other, and Jesse wouldn't trade them for the world. Ali, Sami's sister is also in the wedding. You could probably call them, "The Three Best Friends That Anyone Could Have."
Bridesmaid
Jesse first met Ali at Sow 7. They both think it was fate that Jesse was sent there so they could have the opportunity to meet. After a few weeks of getting to know each other they became quite the duo. They were basically partners in crime, or more like partners in pulling baby pigs out of the birth canal! Day One's was their job title, but Pig Nurse/Gyno is preferred (a more interesting title, for their interesting job.) You'd think that you'd get tired of being with the same person 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, but that never happened with them. While we weren't slaving away at our job, we were having the most random conversations, and some really great laughs. Just like Sami, Ali fills in another "sister" roll in her life.
Bridesmaid
Gina and Jesse met at Webster City High School! As Jesse transitioned to a new school for her senior year, Gina was just the friend she needed. They had frequent sleepovers and girls nights during the year that they had together, and this resulted in feeling like they had known each other for their entire lives. While they are basically complete opposites in a lot of ways, they make it work extremely well. Gina is the type of friend that will be there anytime you need her, wherever and whenever. Staying close after high school isn't always easy, but these two have stayed in close contact ever since graduation!
Bridesmaid
Casey and Jesse met freshman year of college at ISU during sorority recruitment. They hit it off right away when they became twin stars after getting recruited at the same sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta! After many college parties, bar crawls, and mug nights, they still remain close to this day. Casey recently got married to the love of her life, Josh (Hi Josh!), and Jesse got to be part of their day by playing a personal attendant role. Jesse is very thankful for Casey, not only because she is the reason Jason and Jesse met, but for their wonderful friendship. She is such a sweet, but sassy, and caring soul!
Bridesmaid
Carly and Jesse met through Jason and Aric's (Carly's fiancé) love for softball! Through the countless softball games attended, nights at the Adobe and the Boone race track, and the crazy impromptu trip to St. Louis; Jesse and Carly formed a really amazing friendship. So many memories have been created in such a short time for these two, and proves that you don't need to know someone for a decade to form a good friendship.
Bridesmaid
Emily and Jesse met through mutual friends a few years back. Over time they became even closer, and Jesse feels extremely lucky to have a friend like Emily in her life. They always have the time of their lives when they're together. Whether they are having a night in Des Moines, roaming the streets lost in Kansas City, or having game night at her house they always have an awesome time together. Although they only became super close over the past year, Jesse couldn't imagine anyone better to stand by her side on her wedding day!
Perfect Personal Attendants
These two gorgeous gals are twins (If you didn't catch that), and they are both Jesse's very close friends. Clare and Jesse first met in a class they had together at Iowa State, but met Serine soon after on the night she met Jason! Ever since that magical night, so many memories have been made, and countless drinks have been consumed on fun nights out and football tailgates. Although Clare is in Illinois finishing up her degree, and Serine is working hard at her new job at the local hospital and they don't see each other as much as they used to, Jesse knows she can always count on these two. Jesse is very lucky to have these two in her life, and can't wait for them to be a part of her day.
Best Man
Jason's best man! They met when they were just wee little guys, and grew up playing baseball together. Toran never fails to liven up the party, with his big personality. Jason and Jesse are both lucky to call him a friend. A few of Jason's favorite memories with Toran are when they went to an ICubs game and got to go into the clubhouse and meet all of the players and get their autographs. Another favorite memory is, "Project T." (Ask, or don't ask). And I'm just going to leave it at that.
Groomsman
Joe and Jason have also known each other since they were just youngsters. They grew up on the same street, just a few blocks down for each other. They shared many of the same interests and hobbies as they made their way through childhood, which allowed them to become very close friends. They've managed to remain very close as they've grown into adults, and both Jason and Jesse are very grateful for that. One of Jason's favorite memories with Joe was when he had his annual flag football games on his birthday at the Ames High football fields.
Groomsman
Tony is Jason's uncle, and the brother to Jason's mother. Tony was actively involved in Jason's life as he grew up, and definitely played another "older brother" role. Tony is married to his sweet wife Megan, and has three amazing children, Natalie, AJ, and Quinn. Jason really enjoys spending time with his Uncle Tony, and is happy to have him by his side when he gets married. One of Jason's favorite memories with Tony were the multiple float trips that they've been on together with some of their other family members.
Groomsman
Jonny is Jason's middle brother. Although Jonny gave Jason quite a hard time growing up (just like big brothers do), he still continues to give him a hard time. Ha! He has been quite helpful through the years with all of Jason and Jesse's moves. And lets' not forget about how much of an amazing cook he is, and the many dinners he has provided them over the years. Jason is fortunate to have a brother close to home, and they get to spend a lot of time together! One time when Jason was little, Jonny and one of his friends convinced Jason that the dog cage downstairs was the "Bat Cave" and left him in there for FOUR HOURS!
Groomsman
Jason's oldest brother. Like Jonny, Gregory also gave Jason a hard time while they grew up together. I mean who do you think Jonny learned it from? While Gregory lives in Wisconsin, and Jason doesn't get to see him as often as he wants to, they always have a good time when they're together. Gregory is also quite the family man, with his beautiful wife Kaleigh, and their adorable daughters Hazel and Olive, who will be the flower girls in the wedding! One time when Jason was little, Gregory and Jonny thought it would be a great idea to tell Jason how animals were slaughtered for food purposes. This resulted in Jason becoming a vegetarian for SEVEN YEARS. That soon ended after they took a trip to the Mandarin Chinese Restaurant one day, and the chicken looked so good that he couldn't resist.
Groomsman
CJ and Jason met through playing softball together. CJ is probably one of the most interesting guys you'll meet with his charismatic and outspoken personality. Lindsay, his wife, is one of Jesse's bridesmaids and close friends. The four of them have formed sort of a family bond through rooming with each other on every softball trip. They create quite the team! Jason is beyond thankful for their friendship, and thankful that his wife has become such a close friend of Jesse's. One of Jason's favorite memories with CJ was... VEGAS.. And we're just going to leave it at that. ;)
Groomsman
Jason and Aric first met a few years ago through a rec league softball team. They hit it off right away, and have been close friends ever since. Lots of memories between these two (along with Carly and Jesse) have been made over the short time they've known each other. Whether they're at the Boone Races, softball fields, or living like high rollers in the green seats at the Busch Stadium, they are 100 percent having a good time together. If you ever are around these two, don't mind the never ending quotes from the show Letter Kenny.
