FAQs

Question

What is the date and time of the wedding?

Answer

The wedding is on Saturday, October 10th, 2026 and the ceremony is set to begin at 2:00pm EST. We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes early at least to ensure all members of the bridal party remain unseen before the beginning of the ceremony.

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

First Baptist Church of Okahumpka 27714 County Road 33, Okahumpka, Florida 34762

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is listed as Formal/Black-Tie. This means that the men should be in suits and the women should be in longer dresses. Please refrain from wearing any shades of brown or blue as they are being reserved for the wedding party.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! First Baptist Church of Okahumpka has plenty of parking space, but we encourage you to carpool if you desire (and because gas can get expensive) and spend some time together as our families are becoming one.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP through our wedding website! Click the RSVP tab, enter your name, and indicate your attendance. Please RSVP no later than July 15th, 2026 to ensure we can accommodate your presence. We understand that life happens, if for any reason, you need to change your RSVP, please message Samantha Garcell at 786-451-4301 via text message. Please note, final RSVPs are due August 10th, 2026. If you are unable to RSVP before then, we will look forward to celebrating with you at a later date.

Question

Where can I find a wedding registry?

Answer

Our wedding registry is available here on our website! Simply click the registry tab and you will be able to browse through everything, no searching through multiple sites here!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired an excellent pair of photographers, therefore, the ceremony will be unplugged. This means that the use of devices of any kind is prohibited in order to ensure that the official photos look perfect and everyone is able to witness the blessing of marriage in the Lord's house.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

The simple answer is no. Due to our personal beliefs and opinions, the consumption of alcohol will be prohibited during the wedding ceremony and reception that follows.

Question

How can I celebrate with you if I cannot attend?

Answer

We are hoping to create a YouTube channel where we will be live streaming the ceremony for everyone to watch and enjoy. Once that is set up, a link will be provided here. While we would love to have everyone here, we are understanding of circumstances being in the way of everyone being able to come together for this celebration

Question

What should I do if I can no longer attend after RSVPing?

Answer

While we will miss you greatly, please ensure to inform us as soon as possible that you will be unable to attend. We know that life comes up and that might prevent you from attending, we still love you and hope to celebrate another time. Once again, please message or email us informing us that you will be unable to attend. 786-451-4301 jackandsammusgrave@outlook.com
