Freedom Trail
The Freedom Trail is a 2.5-mile red-lined walking path through downtown Boston, the North End, and Charlestown, featuring 16 historically significant sites from the American Revolution era. Established in 1951, this iconic path features painted lines or embedded red bricks that guide visitors to landmarks including churches, burying grounds, and the USS Constitution.

Famous food and market hall! Get the New England clam chowder from any of the stalls here.

Right next to Quincy Market and along the Freedom Trail.
North End Italian District restaurant
The Italian District! We recommend pastries from Mike's or Bova's. Sandwiches (either an Italian sandwich or chicken cutlet sandwich) from Monica's Mercato (Table Mercato is good too!). For Italian food, we recommend Trattoria II Panino, Carmelina's, and Little Sage (get reservations early!)
