Victor and Alyssa met at Gramercy Christian School in 2010. Their very first conversations were about video games before class would start (video games are still a hot topic for them today.) Alyssa always thought Victor was very funny and cute. Victor always thought Alyssa was very pretty and cool. Almost exactly ten years later, life had taken them on different paths, and the world was starting to feel like a very scary and lonely place. Victor, now across the country in Seattle, Washington, reached out to Alyssa, still in Eastern North Carolina. The pair were both feeling the sting and isolation of the Covid lockdowns. What started as a venting session led to a friendship during which they talked non-stop and watched tons of movies together. Fate (and maybe some prayers and wishes) brought Victor back to North Carolina after almost a year. By this time, feelings beyond friendship had blossomed for both of them. Since then they've been as inseparable as two people could possibly be. They still talk non-stop and connect by watching movies, but now they do it side-by-side instead of from 3,000 miles away.
