Hood River County Fruit Loop
This 35-mile scenic drive through the valley’s orchards, forests, farmlands and friendly communities is one of the area’s top attractions. Throughout the year, you’ll find fruit, wines, lavender, alpacas, farm stands, family activities and more. It was also recently featured on Top Chef, one of our favorite shows!
Multnomah Falls
If you drove in from Portland, you likely saw this beautiful waterfall. It's a waterfall as magnificent and memorable as any in the country is located just a 30- minute drive outside of Portland. Visiting Multnomah Falls, a 611-foot-tall roaring, awe-inspiring cascade of icy water, lets you experience the power and beauty of nature up close and with ease. From the parking area off of I-84, a 5-minute walk is all that separates you from the exhilarating spray at the base of the falls. You can also hike to the top and back in 2.4 miles.
Skamania Lodge
Skamania Lodge is a super fun and beautiful resort 22 miles from Hood River with Golf, Zipline, Aerial Park, Axe Throwing...Oh My! If you have an extra day in the area with not much to do, there is something here for everyone!
Dog Mountain Hike
This is a 7 mile round-trip hike that will not disappoint! The views from this hike are absolutely beautiful and well worth the climb.
