During their family trip to Italy last year, a special truffle mushroom "hunt" was planned. Little did Mish know, Nick had some tricks up his sleeve which would make it the second best day of her life! On the day of the truffle hunt, and with some help from the owners and chef of Italian Days Food Tour, Nick was greeted with THE most special truffle picked and carved out to place the engagement ring in. During the hunt, the truffle-sniffing dog led the group to the planted truffle for Nick and Mish to dig up. You can guess the rest from there...

On the very last day of the Italy trip and in the midst of packing, Nick and Mish scrounged up what was left of their Italian change. When they added their change together, it amounted to 10 euro and 10 cents. As a huge believer in signs and already favoring a wedding in October, Mish quickly pulled out her calendar to see if 10/10 fell on a weekend... her heart (and date) was set. Now the two plan to exchange vows in private on 10/10/2020!
