We're getting MARRIED!

Matt and Amanda met each other at a comedy club in downtown Wilmington, NC. A few dates later and several bike rides to the beach for sunsets, they became inseparable. Matt and Amanda were immediately attracted to each others passion for adventure and active lifestyle. Within the first three months of knowing each other, they took a venturous snowboarding trip to Vail, Colorado where they declared their love for each other. Since the beginning of their relationship, they have moved four times. They knew after spending a year in a one bedroom one bath apartment with 2 dogs that their love for each other would prevail. It was times like these they really got to know each other well. In March 2016, Matt took a job in Richmond, Virginia where they currently live.

On July 28th, 2018 Matt proposed to Amanda while horseback riding! Amanda had no idea Matt would plan to pop the question that day, after all, Amanda planned the trip. Even though Matt was fidgety and nervous, Amanda suspected it was in relation to his first time ever riding a horse. The couple saddle up and started their ride into the mountains. The guide stopped the ride at the top of the mountain for a quick equipment check, asking the couple to dismount from their horses. At that time, Matt got down on one knee to propose to Amanda!
